15th International Scientific Conference “CONTEMPORARY SECURITY CHALLENGES AND STRENGTHENING THE RESILIENCE OF THE COUNTRIES OF SOUTHEAST EUROPE"
Dear Sir/Madam,
It is our great pleasure to announce that the Faculty of Security - Skopje and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation are organizing 15th International Scientific Conference “CONTEMPORARY SECURITY CHALLENGES AND STRENGTHENING THE RESILIENCE OF THE COUNTRIES OF SOUTHEAST EUROPE”.
The Conference will take place in Hotel Sileks, Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia in the period 23-24 September 2024.
Especially welcomed are papers addressing topics of the following areas:
• International police cooperation and the fight against organized crime and corruption;
• Illegal migrations, asylum and European Union's border management;
• Energy and economic security in Southeast Europe;
• International terrorism and protection of freedom of citizens of European countries;
• The military conflicts in Ukraine and Israel and the threat to the security situation in the countries of Southeast Europe;
• Regional security concepts and strategies for managing hybrid, technological and informational threats;
• International and regional cooperation for managing elementary accidents and natural disasters;
• Environmental security, climate change and sustainable development;
• Anti-gender movements as a security threat;
• Cyber security and cyber-crime as contemporary security challenges.
In addition, papers addressing topics of other areas that are dedicated to the general theme of the conference are welcomed too.
Conference goal:
The goal of the Conference is to exchange and share different perspectives on security and related educational challenges.
Call for papers:
All authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help us support the Conference by submitting their scientific and professional papers based on original and unpublished work.
